How long does it take to do a commission?

The amount of hours depends on several variables, like the size and details of the artwork. This will be discussed with the artist. The timeframe from starting to completion depends on the artist's schedule and the finishes the client wishes for the art piece.  Commissions can take a few weeks to a few months.

Can I get a Print as a commission?

Yes. The client can choose to purchase a print rather than the original. The artist will retain all rights to sell the original and unlimited amount of prints.

Will there be prints made and sold by the artist?

Yes. Unless discussed and agreed upon in the contract the client agrees that the artist can sell unlimited prints of the commission. The artist will discuss the timeframe and time involved in the commission. Arrangements can be made to forgo the reproduction of commissions.

I don’t think what I am looking for is in my budget, can I pay monthly?

Yes. If the client wishes to have a commission made they can offer a payment plan, for example, monthly payments, and discuss with the artist. Artist will discuss the timeframe and will not start the commission until 50% of the total price is paid for.

I have a few ideas for a painting, how do I share my ideas?

No worries, share your ideas over text or on Pinterest. You can set up a private board on Pinterest, there are lots of ideas out there! Add notes to a pin stating what interests you in the image. Keep in mind the style of painting, the color theory of the painting, and the composition.

I am interested in a commission, but I am not sure what style it is? I am not sure about the color or composition either.
